Courtney O’Keefe is the founder of Soul Sister Photography and Consulting, a Boston-based company that specializes in photography design and execution for everyone including wedding clients, politicians, and musicians. An avid runner, writer, and tattoo enthusiast, Miss O’Keefe is constantly looking for creative and unique ways of marketing her company. So, it’s no surprise that she found a kindred spirit in Action Custom Straps owner, Terry Misner. Together, they designed and created a stunning jet-black leather camera strap displaying the name of Courtney’s photography company using a thread that Courtney refers to as” Soul Sister” blue. Courtney points out, “I’m very detailed-oriented. You can’t be a successful photographer and not be insane about details. Terry Misner walked me through the whole process of creating this camera strap. He emailed me font styles, material types, and even the thread color before it was made on their brand-new embroidery machine. The customer service was amazing and I’ll never buy a camera strap anywhere else. Plus, it’s surreal to have something made by the same company that caters to the likes of James Blunt, Donnie VanZant, and Mike Mills.”

Currently, Courtney O’Keefe is taking Soul Sister Photography and Consulting to new levels with innovative marketing materials and expanding her business to include architectural photography, as well promoting her line of custom made greeting cards.
